Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Due to the increasing number of short-notice cancellations, we are not always able to make exceptions for illness.

If your treatment was scheduled within the 24-hours leading up to the appointment, the cancellation policy will apply immediately. We appreciate your understanding.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will greet you and guide you to the treatment room. Together, you’ll briefly review your health history, massage preferences, and treatment plan to ensure your session is tailored to your needs. Payment is taken prior to treatment. Your therapist will then step out to provide privacy while you get ready—please wait until they have left the room before undressing.

Disrobe to your comfort level. Most clients choose to keep their underwear on (and typically remove bras when the back, neck, or shoulders will be treated), while others prefer to leave more clothing on, such as pants or socks if they tend to feel cold. The decision is entirely yours and may depend on the areas you would like treated with direct skin contact.

Once ready, please lie on the table and cover yourself with the top layer of the provided flat sheet and blanket. Unless otherwise directed, begin face down with your face in the headrest and your arms by your sides. When your therapist knocks to return, let them know clearly when you are ready for them to enter.

During your treatment, you are encouraged to request any adjustments to pressure, table positioning, or room environment at any time. Your RMT will only uncover the area being treated and will maintain your comfort and privacy throughout the session. You are always in control and may pause or modify the treatment at any point.

After the massage, your therapist will step out so you can dress in private. Even if you feel comfortable dressing with them present, this boundary is maintained to support professionalism and practitioner comfort.

If you are prone to low blood pressure or dizziness, take a moment to sit up slowly before standing. When you are ready, open the door to signal your RMT to return. They will review any follow-up recommendations and answer your questions. We also encourage you to hydrate after your treatment to help replenish fluids.
