Cancellation Policy

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Due to the increasing number of short-notice cancellations, we are not always able to make exceptions for illness.

If your treatment was scheduled within the 24-hours leading up to the appointment, the cancellation policy will apply immediately. We appreciate your understanding.

Appointment Timing

Your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will guide you to the treatment room and review your health history, massage preferences, and assessment/treatment plan. Before treatment begins, your therapist will take payment and then they will then step out of the room to give you privacy while you undress, please wait until your RMT is out of the room before you begin to undress.

Please undress to your comfort level—most people keep their underwear on (typically remove bras if working on the back, neck, or shoulders), while others may prefer to leave more clothing on (e.g., pants or socks if they tend to feel cold). The choice is entirely yours and may depend on which areas you’d like treated with direct skin contact.

Once undressed, please lie down on the table, covering yourself with the top layer of the  provided flat-sheet and blanket. Unless otherwise directed by your therapist, you will begin face down with your face in the headrest and arms by your sides.  When your therapist knocks to return, let them know clearly if you are ready for them to enter.

During the treatment, you can request adjustments to the table, environment, and/or massage pressure at any time. Your RMT will uncover the area being treated and will ensure your comfort and privacy throughout. You are always in control and may pause or modify the session as needed at any time. We want you to be comfortable!

After the massage, your therapist will step out so you can dress in private. Even if you are comfortable dressing with them in the room, we maintain this boundary for professionalism and the comfort of our practitioners.

If you have low blood pressure or are prone to dizziness, take a moment to sit up before standing. Once you’re ready, open the door to signal your RMT to return. They will go over any follow-up recommendations and answer any questions you may have. Feel free to rehydrate with water to replenish fluids.
